Checkout 51 & Rite Aid 3/27/14

Before I post about today's Rite Aid haul, I'd like to first let you guys know about an app I love to use. If you haven't yet, you should look into the app Checkout 51. It's available from the app store on your phone or online. Every Thursday it updates new offers for the week, on items you might already be planning to purchase, after you purchase the item you simply take a photo of your receipt (it gives you guidelines to help you take the picture, it's very simple) and you upload it to Checkout 51. After they process your receipt they will credit your account the amount of money the item was worth.

Here's an example of what the weekly offers look like, each offer can vary in cash back, and it can be purchased from any store. Just make sure you upload your receipt before the next weeks offers activate on Thursday, the products must have been purchased while the offer was live. After you reach $20+, you can hit the cash out button and they will mail you a check!

This is my current balance!

Moving on...

I wanted to get 4 bags of jellybeans, but I was distracted so tomorrow I'll be getting 2 more.. stocking up on Easter Basket goodies early and cheap this year! It's a great week at both Cvs and Rite Aid to stock up on Axe and Dove Mens, there were some great coupons in Sunday's paper and matched with these sales are bringing great savings!

For anyone who is interested, the jelly beans are on sale 2/$4
use $1/2 coupon from Sunday's paper (3/23/14)
Get $1 +up reward on the purchase of 2
 Final price: $2/2!

It's a great time to look for your Easter deals so you aren't scrambling around paying full price the week before!

Happy Saving! ~

Giant 3/25/14

Today I made a quick trip to Giant. Normally I plan out my trips down to the letter, but this one was just to grab a few items and finish off my gas deals! First let me say, that I am not going to post my whole haul, simply because my youngest and my boyfriend were with me and when that happens I ALWAYS end up spending more than I had originally planned.. so. I got several things I didn't have coupons for and momma was not too happy, lol! First deal this week that I took advantage of was croutons!

On sale this week 4/$5 I had a sweet little .50/1 coupon from coupons.com  and all 4 of them doubled making these .25 a bag! (be careful, it seems that only Giant's who updated their computer systems are doubling 4 like coupons, if they haven't updated yet it will only double 1 like coupon per transaction, but you could do them in separate transactions, or you can do them in 1, 1 will double and the other 3 will ring in for .50 making these .63/bag). And the bags are pretty big too!

Mama Rosie's was having a sale this week 2/$3! To help this deal out even more there are $1/2 printable coupons you can get from Mama Rosie's web page (Click Here) that makes them $1 a bag.

To sweeten this deal EVEN MORE!  They are a part of a category 7 gas deal! Buy 7 get .50 off a gallon  of gas!

Now drum roll please.....

This is what my total looked like after filling my tank today ;-) This is the first time I've filled my tank for FREE! [I LOVE FREE].

Note: My tank was only down to 1/4 of a tank, I wish I would have literally waited until my gas light came on! Goal for next time!

Cvs 3/24/14

I wanted to make it to CVS on Sunday, but being home, in my jammies just felt too good.. so I put it off until today after work. I grabbed my clip board and my coupons and headed in. I was a little upset to see that some of the items I was planning on getting were out of stock, but it was lotion, and I just stocked up on that last week with Kmart's double coupon event so I wasn't too worried about it. I just rearranged my trip a little.

My total Oop: $2.61
95% savings!
I used $8 ecb
Got back $10 & I had  $5 leftover so going into next week I have $15 ecb to roll!

The paper towels were free, with a cvs coupon that printed from the magic coupon printer [I LOVE FREE!], everything else had cvs q's stacked with manufacture q's! I also thought about taking advantage of this weeks B1G2 Free Snuggle, but the bottles are really small and the cost is still over $1 a bottle and it just didn't seem worth it to me. However, my mother did take advantage of the Wisk deal and got 6 bottles for $9.xx! And those weren't the tiny bottles :-)
